Sign in as a teacher. In the left WORKSPACE sidebar, open Exercises. The breadcrumb reads Dashboard > Exercises.
The page title is Exercises. The subtitle explains the job of this screen: create and manage grammar, reading, vocabulary, listening, dictation, and writing exercises. This page builds one exercise at a time. For a full lesson package from one prompt, use Create lesson package on Lessons.

Select Create one exercise with AI in the header. The modal title matches the button.

AI output is always a draft. Nothing is auto-published or auto-assigned.

Choose Create from template to open Create from a template. Pick a skill and format (for example Grammar warm-up or Dictation practice), then Use template →. Edit title, level, and questions before you publish.

Use the sticky search bar and filters above the card list:

When class data supports it, a Suggested next exercise banner appears above the list. It names the class, the exercise students struggled with, and a follow-up exercise. Select Assign {exercise title} to open assignment from that recommendation.

Open any card to edit. The editor shows Title, Description (optional), Level, and Questions with Preview, AI Generate Questions, and + Add Question.
Publishing makes the exercise ready to share or assign. It does not assign work to a class.

Inside the editor, AI Generate Questions opens Generate Questions with AI. Set Number of questions (1–50), add an optional custom prompt, and pick Question Types chips. Select Generate to append questions to your draft list. Review each question before you save.

+ Add Question opens Add New Question with Type, Question, options, Correct Answer, and Explanation (optional). Use Save draft while you work, then Publish when the exercise is ready.

On each card you can:
Cards show skill, CEFR level, readiness signals such as Ready or Never assigned, and activity counts (for example 6 questions).
