The Learnig teacher loop: draft, review, assign, and grade

More than a generator

Many tools stop at content generation. You get a worksheet, then copy it somewhere else to assign, grade, and follow up. Learnig covers the whole cycle: draft, review, assign or publish, grade, and improve.

The home page Teacher workflow section describes that loop in four steps. Each step maps to real workspace areas: Exercises, Lessons, Assignments, visibility controls, and Gradebook.

Draft

On the landing page, step 1 reads: AI drafts an exercise from your topic, level, and class goal.

You can start in two places:

1. Exercises at /teacher/exercises. Create with AI builds one exercise at a time (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Listening, Dictation, or Writing) from your topic, CEFR level, and prompt.
2. Lessons at /teacher/lessons. Create lesson package builds a draft lesson package with multiple ordered modules from one brief.

AI output is always a draft. Nothing is auto-published or auto-assigned to a class.

You can also use Create from template, Create manually, or quick views such as Continue editing, Needs attention, and Ready to assign to pick up work you already started.

Review

Step 2 on the landing: You edit the output, check the answer key, and preview the student view before sharing.

Before students see the material:

• Edit content in the exercise or lesson editor.
• Open the Answer key panel after AI generation and verify correct answers.
• Choose Save & preview as student to open the real learner player.
• Check card indicators such as Needs attention or Ready to assign.

Learnig expects you to review AI-assisted content before it reaches a class or a public link.

Assign or publish

Step 3: Send it to a class, share an unlisted link, or add it to your public profile.

One exercise or lesson can reach learners three ways:

Visibility is explicit: Private, Class-only, Unlisted link, and Public profile. New teacher content defaults to Private. Draft and archived resources stay owner-only regardless of visibility.

When you assign a private exercise, Learnig can raise visibility to Class-only after you confirm, so class work stays scoped to enrolled learners.

Google Classroom is strong for roster-based assignment inside a school domain. Learnig adds tutor-first sharing with Unlisted link and Public profile, which helps solo teachers and small centers grow outside one classroom without rebuilding content on a separate site.

Grade and improve

Step 4: Students submit work, AI drafts feedback, you approve it, and you can reuse the material or turn it into a lesson.

After learners submit:

1. Assignments Hub shows submission progress and work that Needs attention.
2. For writing and other manual-review activities, AI drafts feedback. You edit, approve, and release scores and XP.
3. Gradebook aggregates outcomes across classes.
4. Reuse what worked: duplicate an exercise, re-assign it, or choose Create lesson from assignment after published feedback.

Learnig does not auto-publish AI feedback. You approve every release before the student sees it.

How this compares to other tools

Learnig targets English tutors and small language centers. It is not a district-wide LMS replacement.

Whole-school roster sync, SIS integration, and district reporting still belong on institutional LMS products. Live competitive quiz games and public leaderboards still fit engagement-first quiz tools better.

The loop is not a single in-app wizard. Teacher Dashboard at /dashboard is where you triage daily work: summary cards, Needs my attention, and links into Exercises, Lessons, and Assignments.

Try Exercises → Create with AI for one activity, or Lessons → Create lesson package for a full sequence. Review the Answer key, Save & preview as student, then assign to a class or set Unlisted link or Public profile. Clear review items from Needs my attention and check Gradebook once submissions arrive.
