Teacher Dashboard: plan, assign, and review in one place

Start on Teacher Dashboard

Sign in as a teacher and open Dashboard in the left WORKSPACE sidebar. The page eyebrow reads Teacher Dashboard. The intro line states the job of this screen: plan classes, assign practice, and review student progress from one focused workspace.

The same sidebar keeps your teaching areas in reach: Needs attention, Classes, Lessons, Exercises, Assignments, Gradebook, and Settings. Classes, Lessons, and Exercises also show a + control so you can start creating without leaving the current page.

Read the summary cards

Across the top of the dashboard, four cards show your current workload at a glance. Counts come from your account and change as you teach.

Use these cards as shortcuts into the matching work. Start a session by checking Awaiting review and anything listed under Needs my attention.

Clear Needs my attention

Needs my attention is the daily triage queue. Open an item to handle it, or select View all for the full list.

Needs my attention with a join request and View all.

In the screenshot, a badge shows 1 join request, and the next action is Review 1 join request for IELTS Foundation (marked NEXT, with waiting status). The footer can note how many grouped actions are shown versus the full underlying set. Open View all when the preview is incomplete.

Typical items in this queue include join requests and submissions waiting for review. Clearing them keeps enrollment and grading from stacking up.

Work from Your Classes

Lower on the home workspace (and via Classes in the sidebar), Your Classes is the starting point for day-to-day teaching. The subtitle is: start from class workspace, then build lessons and assignments.

Your Classes with Create class and Content tools.

1. Select + Create class when you need a new workspace.
2. Open a class row to enter that class (each row shows the class name and student count).
3. Use View all classes when the list is longer than the preview.

Under Content tools, jump to Lessons, Assignments, or Question Bank without hunting through the sidebar.

Daily routine

1. Open Dashboard and scan the four summary cards.
2. Handle the top item in Needs my attention (or open View all).
3. Enter a class from Your Classes to check that group.
4. Build or reuse practice from Lessons, Exercises / Question Bank, then distribute from Assignments.
5. Return to Awaiting review or Gradebook when submissions are ready.

The Teacher Dashboard is a triage and navigation surface. It is not a learner study dashboard. It does not replace class workspaces, assignment review, or the gradebook; it points you to the next useful teaching action.
