Free English practice on Learnig Resources

Open Resources

On Learnig, open Resources in the top navigation. The Explore tab is the hub for free practice. From there you can also switch into skill tabs such as Alphabets, Vocabulary, Review, Word Bank, Saved, Grammar, Listening, Reading, and Dictation.

The page headline is Free English practice. You can practice as a guest, open resources a teacher shares, or jump back into assigned class work after you sign in.

Three ways to access practice

1. Free practice. Start platform exercises anytime. Guest learners can practice; sign in when you want progress saved.
2. Teacher resources. Lessons and exercises your teacher shares publicly live on their profile (or a direct link).
3. Class assignments. Required homework and exams appear in your student workspace after a teacher assigns them to you or your class.

Use Start free practice to move into the skill picker below. Use My assignments when you need homework or exams that were assigned to you.

Choose a skill

Below the access cards, Choose a skill lists free practice modules. Each card shows a green FREE badge, a short time estimate, and a call-to-action.

Choose a skill grid with Smart Review, Vocabulary, Listening, Grammar, Reading, and Dictation.

What each card is for:

Several skills work without an account. Smart Review and My Word Bank need sign-in because they use your saved words. Reading opens practice from assigned exercises.

Try Dictation and Word of the Day

Still on Resources, you can try a short Dictation preview and the Word of the Day card without leaving the page.

Dictation

1. Open the Dictation card (level badge such as A1).
2. Select Click to listen and hear the prompt.
3. Under Your answer, type what you hear (optional Show Hint).
4. Select Check Answer.

Word of the Day

1. Read the featured word, IPA, Definition, and Example.
2. Use Show translation if you want the meaning in your language.
3. Select Listen pronunciation to hear the word.
4. Use Already Learned when you have marked it done.

Guest vs signed-in

• Guests can start free platform practice from Choose a skill.
• Sign in to save progress, use Smart Review / My Word Bank, and open My assignments for class homework and exams.
• Teacher resources stay on the teacher’s public profile or link. They are separate from class assignments and from platform Free practice.

Public teacher materials are what a teacher shares on their profile; class-only homework only appears after an assignment. Start with Start free practice if you just want to try a skill today.
