Reading passage
Last Saturday, Mia went to a small bike shop with her father. She needed a new bicycle because the one she had was too small for her growing legs. Mia had saved some money from her birthday gifts and from helping her mother with chores at home. In the shop she tried three bicycles. The first one felt comfortable, but it was too heavy to ride easily. The second bike was light, yet the seat was set too high for her. Finally, she tried a blue bicycle. It was light and the seat could be adjusted quickly, so it fit her perfectly. Mia liked it right away. Her father agreed it was a good choice, and they bought the blue bike. On the way home, Mia rode carefully. She was happy with her new bike, but she did not ride fast because the streets were busy.
